Are there any third party stand alone apple wat...

So I recently discovered many of the apps I have downloaded act more as a remote control for apps installed on my iPhone instead of being standalone apps for my apple watch.

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of 3rd party standalone apple watch apps. I recently bought the apple watch 3 series and I love the freedom of it. But I'm disappointed that certain apps still require an apple phone nearby to use.

I'm sure part of the reason this is happening is because Apple doesn't want people to view this as a full replacement fortheiphoneor maybe it's technical limitations. I don't know.
