How to recover Missing pics/videos from iCloud ...

I accidentally downgraded my iCloud storage from 50 gb to 5 gb and was in the middle of downloading all my pics/videos to a external storage, however all the pics/videos are missing now.. I tried to get back the iCloud 50gb storage but in vain don't see the pics/videos ..how do I recover them ?  or perhaps all my devices are connected is it possible I could have them in my iPhone 6 and iPhone 7 ? please help?

Try going to www.icloud.com and see if perhaps they are in the Recently Deleted folder.

Unfortunately, unless you have a backup, there isn't anything you can do.

Space isn't removed immediately, you should have been able to download the images in the time left which you would have been told about.

tried that too... its weird I do have like 3 pictures still showing me   29 days left to be deleted forever... so if there are 3 pictures why could I not get all of those which got deleted? any idea

I was in the middle of downloading my pictures/videos to a external storage drive... I tried choking the recently deleted folder i do have 3 pictures there to restore not all of them...? well I still have 50 gb iCloud storage any  other way of recovering ?
