Use smartboard as an iPad

Hi!

I would like to connect my iPad to a smartboard and use the smartboard as an iPad. I have succeed to mirroring the picture with a HDMI-cable, but I don't only want to mirroring the picture; I want to touch the smartboard and start an app (from the iPad). Is this possible?
