My new day to day driver 2017 MacBook 13" with touchbar was purchased 6 weeks ago around the end of August, and I have encountered a very serious screen problem. Tried reset power management settings and NVPRAM, but there is no sign that it's getting back to normal. 

Initially, the screen flicked couple times earlier this week when it was playing YouTube videos and turned to black. But I was able to hold the power button to force the machine to shut down and then restart it. It worked fine. After getting into this situation 5 or 6 times, I decided to reset PRAM. Then it restarted with a yellow straight line on the screen and started into the password reset system with completely black screen after the apple logo. I then tried to reset PRAM/NVPRAM to force it start with the normal os. But every time I do PRAM/NVPRAM reset, the screen flicks once very quick and turns into complete black after I see the login screen for about a mini second. If I restart by simply press the power button, it goes to reset password system with screen still being black. This seems a dead loop. So I run the diagnostic test on hardware. The machine is good.

Can anyone please think of a possible solution to this situation? This is my day to day driver machine. I saw couple screen problem posts, they didn't end up well with simple fix and some had to replace the motherboard. Is this screen problem a common problem for recent mac models? Again, my machine is still kinda new and has never been heavily used in the past 6 weeks.
