OS X 10.11.6 fails Internet recovery

Hi,

I have MacBook Pro 15" with OS X 10.11.6

When I start the machine, I get gray screen or horizontal green lines

I want to format/reinstall the OS.

When I select Internet Recovery option it downloads the installation

and without installing keeps restarting after that.

The machine heats up with speedy noisy fan.

Please guide me how do I format the machine and reinstall OS X 10.11.6
