All,

Having an issue with adding the WF-3640 Printer to my network.  I initial set the printer up to work over the wi-fi, but my wi-fi isn't very good and could never connect to the printer.  So I removed all the software from my iMac, and have re-installed the printer software.

When I re-installed the printer software I choose the wired network option.

Wireless is disabled on my printer, and its connected to my network.

When I go to add the printer in system preferences it wants to add the Epson Fax, and doesn't bring up my printer

Any  ideas?

Never install printer software onto your Mac. Apple has written instructions on how to add and remove a  printer. Please Google "Mac OS Sierra Add printer" for instructions.

I'm still not getting my printer to show just the fax.  Its weird I can print from my iPhone.  I'll have to wait for Epson  on Monday
