iTunes 12.7 skips songs moved in playlist

For years, I've used iTunes to play music at our events. Basically, I build playlists and move the songs around during events based on what's happening at that time.

With the latest update to iTunes 12.7, if I move a song to a new place in the playlist, iTunes skips it and moves to the song that was originally next in the playlist. I will drag the song up to the place I want it to play, but iTunes won't play it next. It allows me to move the song, but does not play the moved song until it gets to the place where it was in the playlist when I opened iTunes. If I move the song, close iTunes and reopen it, then it will play it where I want, but obviously during a show I can't do that.

I found a workaround - you can go to the song you want to play and choose Play Next, but then I have to search through the playlist and remove it so it won't play again.

I have looked everywhere and cannot figure out how to fix this. Has anyone else experienced this? Did you fix it?
