iPad calendar not syncing to iCloud or iPhone
Recently, my iPad calendar stopped syncing with iCloud on my PC and my iPhone. I can sync from my iPhone to my iPad and iCloud and I can sync from iCloud to my iPad and iPhone... Just not from my iPad. Notes from my iPad sync fine to my iPhone and iCloud. I have all calendar setting set on "Home" calendar. I am at a loss to fix this nagging problem. What is the fix? Your help will be appreciated. Gary
On your iPad check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar. If you have multiple accounts listed, be sure you have selected a calendar listed under you iCloud account as your default (and not a calendar listed under something else like On My iPad, On My PC, Google Calendar, and exchange account calendars, etc). If you haven't, make this change then enter a new calendar event on your iPad and see if it syncs properly now.
If your settings are correct and your iPad is still not syncing new calendar events to iCloud, go to icloud.com from your computer and enter any missing events from your iPad calendar that are not on your calendar on icloud.com. Once your calendar on icloud.com is up to date, go to Settings>iCloud on your iPad, turn Calendars to Off, choose Delete from My iPad when prompted, then after a minute of so turn Calendars back to On. Then enter a new event on your iPad and see if it syncs to icloud.com properly now.
Double checked my settings and they were set correctly. It took awhile, but I added all the missing iPad calendar events to my PC iCloud calendar. Of course, that made duplicates of many events on my iPad and iPhone. Deleted the calendar from my iPad as instructed. After a five minute wait, I turned on the calendar iCloud setting. After a few seconds, my iPad calendar was filled with events as before. I tested several new events. The new events appeared on my iPhone not on my PC iCloud calendar.
Any other ideas?
Time to test.
I assume that you are using Outlook as the client on your PC?
This test is between Outlook and iCloud.com, ignore any other devices for now.
Open Outlook, place 1 event (label it test) on the iCloud calendar, observe whether or not it appears on iCloud.com.
Post back.
Are you sure that you have the iCloud control panel downloaded and installed?
You should also check the iCloud add in. Click the File menu. Then click Options in the left panel of the Outlook window. Click Add-Ins in the left panel of the Outlook Options window. Look at the list of add-ins beneath "Active Application Add-Ins" make sure "iTunes Outlook add-in" and "iCloud Outlook Add-in" are selected.
To add enable the add-ins, in the Manage box at the bottom of the Outlook Options window, select COM Add-Ins, and then click Go. In the COM Add-Ins dialog, navigate to the iCloud add in and and you should be able to enable them.
I do not have or use Outlook on my PC. So that's not it. Thanks for your ideas.
I do not have Outlook on my PC and I do have the iCloud control panel. BTW, moving "Notes" on all have devices works great through iCloud. I use Firefox as my default browser. Thanks.
on a PC you need to have outlook to use it, otherwise the control panel don't interess for anything
I think that you're talking about www.icloud.com??
I guess I do not understand what you are refering to. This is what I assume is the "iCloud Control" panel. To see the Calendar, it does open the browser to icloud.com. The frustrating thing is, iCloud worked fine for several months. I don't believe there have been any significant changes to my PC or to my iPad or iPhone. I can't imagine that Outlook is a prerequisite to use iCloud. That is a pretty expensive piece of software.
The control panel and you PC are not the issue. Vy using iCloud.com to enter events only your iPad and the website are involved.
Sign out of iCloud (on the iPad) then sign back in.The control panel on your PC is out of this loop because you have no iCloud client on the PC.
as Csound1 said, the problem is not on iCloud control panel.
if you add a event on your icloud.com? it goes to your iPad and iPhone?
.
If I add an event to iCloud, it goes to both my iPad and my iPhone. If I add an event to iPhone, it goes to iPad and iCloud.com. If I add an event to iPad, it goes to my iPhone but not to iCloud.com. Go figure.

It is a prerequisite if you want to sync your PC, but from your post there are other issues. Do as eldenfrommoure requested and post back with the result.
You are entering on the wrong calendar (on your iPad) Reset the default calendar on the iPad to iCloud.
