iTunes gift card not activated

I got an iTunes gift card but unfortunately I can't redeem it. It says your card hasn't been activated properly. Help me please!!

Go back to the store and ask them to activate it properly, if they can't or wont help contact iTunes Support as per the instructions in the link turingtest's post above

It says I need to activate it and it already has.

I revived a gift card for Christmas and it's not working

It happens to me as well, I call apple, they said I have to return to the store, they store won't take it back because the card as been scratched, *** how

They said they cant do anything!  Cuz the pin cover thing is scratched off!! I was like no ****! How do you think i figured out that the cards weren't activated!! But they won't do anything about it?

This thread is making me laugh. I have just used chat support to try and solve an issue which they eventually told me was the card hadn't been activated. Unfortunately the card was given as a gift 2-3 years ago I think but actually it may be one my son received as a gift at some point in he last 2-3 years. Either way, I have no certainty about who gave us he card and where it was purchased from. Outcome from Chat support? We can't help you. Despite being a multibillion dollar organisation in the etc industries we can tell you who the supplier of your card was so that you could go back to them and activate it. Basically, although one of OUR cards has been bought in good faith from OUR supplier who has made an error by not activating the card, WE refuse to take any responsibility for it and YOU, the customer, will lose out. Oh, and they cut me off because I didn't reply within a minute when it took them 3-4 minutes to respond each time!

Support? Seriously
