How to trade my Apple Watch for another and swi...

I just got the Series 3 Apple Watch, and I would like to trade it in for the Series 3 Apple Watch + Cellular. How can that be done? Also, once I receive my new Apple Watch, I would like to transfer the data I have on my mini iPad onto my new Apple Watch. How can that be done? 

If you bought it within 14 days ago, just return it and then buy the model you want. Otherwise you have to sell to a third party as Apple does not do trade-ins for the watch. Make sure you: Unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone - Apple Support.

 

Apple Watch cannot be paired with an iPad, only an iPhone 5S or later (as the watch will have watchOS 4); an iPhone 6 or later is needed for cellular on the watch: Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support.

Apple's return policy can vary by country.

 

In the US, for example, Apple's policy allows for a returns within 14 calendar days of receiving the Apple Watch:

 

 

Other retailers' return policies may vary. If you bought your Apple Watch elsewhere than from Apple, check with the retailer to establish any available return options.

 

Apple Watch cannot be paired or synced with an iPad mini.

 

For an Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS +Cellular) model, an iPhone 6 or newer model running  the latest version of iOS is required (this applies regardless of whether or not you wish to use the built-in cellular features, which also require a compatible service plan for your iPhone and Apple Watch from a supported carrier):
