Where is the iPad mini 5?

When will apple stop making new big floppy and awkward to hold tablets and update the school and hand friendly iPad mini. I depend on the form factor and smaller size to replace my laptop when going between lectures and the big iPads are just a big risk on campus of hitting corners getting the screen damaged by books or people in crowds and a big target for being mugged or theft in general. Kindly hurry up and get the iPad mini up to speed with everything else. NO more big iPads no body wants to walk around with a giant piece of glass...mini is the perfect size and best for work related task or education out of any tablet on the market. The innovation was enough years ago how about some MAINTENANCE of the current line up and thinning out of giant devices that have no real world purpose outside of an art studio. More iPad mini more iPhone SE sized devices please for the love of Christ build smaller stuff...

Unfortunately, we don't know what iPads Apple will be releasing next. I hope for you a new iPad mini will be announced but it isn't likely. They are probably done with the mini format

1. Apple is not here. This is a user to user forum. As users we have no idea when or if they may decide to make an iPad Mini 5. Currently Apple has not revealed any plans for it.

2. I find it incredibly arrogant that you think no one likes the larger devices and that apple should stop making them.  Personally I love the 12" iPad Pro, and know many people who also like it a lot and by that same token have no use for the 7" mini. However just because I have no use for it, does not mean I think nobody else does.  I can appreciate people liking the smaller form factor, and would not jump out and impose my like of the larger iPad on anybody or demand Apple stop making the mini.

3. There are many millions of people that also love the 4.7" and 5.5" inch iPhones and that were clamoring for those sizes when Apple was making the iPhone 5s  and other manufacturers had the larger screen devices.  Also many people care little about the SE size. If you like that size fine, but imposing your requirements on everybody is again arrogant, and self centered.

4. If you want, you can provide feedback to Apple at https://apple.com/feedback  But note that the larger sizes are in fact Apple's better sellers than the smaller SE and iPad Mini.
