Can I use my Mac to delete photos on my iPhone or do I have to manually delete them from the phone?

If you are syncing photos using iCloud Photo Library, you can delete them on the Mac and they will delete from the phone. The photos will also be deleted at iCloud.com/Photos. If you aren't syncing photos, you will need to do a manual delete on the phone.
