Apple Watch Series 3 GPS reboots several times ...

I have an apple watch series 3 Nike watch. I've noticed that for some reason it reboots itself a couple of times a day. It is not a huge deal, but should it be doing that? I have the latest WatchOS and the latest iOS and have rebooted/ powered off both units.

It is not normal for your Apple Watch to restart unexpectedly.

The following steps may help (check after each before moving on to the next):

• Check that you are not accidentally force restarting your Apple Watch:
  • If your watch is worn too close to your hand, the Digital Crown and side button may be pressed and held down by the back of your hand when flexing your wrist.
  • It may help to wear your watch a little further up your arm and/or with the buttons on the other side:
    • To change the configuration: on your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Watch Orientation > choose the preferred wrist and side for the buttons.

• Close all apps and restart both your iPhone and your watch (normally):
  • Close all open apps on your iPhone:
    • Double-click the Home button, then swipe up on each app preview to close it.
  • Turn both devices off together, then restart them, starting with your iPhone:
    • Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
    • Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support

• Unpair and re-pair your watch:

  • The Watch app on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch automatically when unpairing via the app.

  • Initially choose to Restore from Backup during set up (most data and settings will be restored, with some exceptions, such as Apple Pay cards, passcode).

  • If the issue persists, consider instead unpairing and setting it up as a new watch.

• Remove apps and watch face complications:
  • Remove third-party apps from the Dock and/or remove them completely from your watch and then monitor performance after adding them back, one at a time.
    • Open apps
  • Remove watch face complications and monitor performance as you add them back:
    • Change the watch face on your Apple Watch - Apple Support
