iPad touch id not working

IOS 11.0.2

When I first set touch id, it works.

But, the next day, after turning iPad on, it does not.

This happens all the time, as it did before IOS 11.

Sounds like a hardware issue. Take it to a Genius Bar Technician and have them take a look at it and see what your options are.
