How do you reset a Mac mini computer I forgot m...

Had my mini off until I connected it to ether wired off for 18mths forgot set up password now locked out  reset is easy way have two other Mac on in house

Depending on your operating system, you can boot into Recovery mode by holding Cmd + R at startup. It will take you to the recovery menu.

On the toolbar, click Utilities > Terminal

When the Terminal window opens, type resetpassword.

That should allow you to reset it. You will lose your Keychain data however.
