Set sender e

My ISP only offers pop3 mail account and I wish to use IMAP. In order not to change my e-mail address, I created an IMAP Google mail, and set the pop3 account to forward all mails to the google account.

Now, when sending or replying e-mails on my IOS device, using the google account, I would like the sender address to appear as the pop3 account. Is there anyway to achieve this?

Hi. Try setting up both accounts, Gmail and ISP in the Mail acount settings.

Disable the ISP account, since you do not want to collect mail from it.

Then, go to the SMTP settings for the Gmail account, turn off the Gmail server, and enable the ISP server.

This should mean that you will send mail using the ISP server, with its sending address.

Note that you will not be able to send mail using the Gmail server but the "wrong" sender address. Servers frown on this.
