why does the facetime keep ringing when Facetim...

When someone FaceTimes me and I answer it on another device other than my iPad my iPad keeps making a weird FaceTime tone, even after FaceTime is answered on my IPhone. This has been going on since the IOS11 update.

Thanks for posting your question in the Apple Support Community. I understand from your post that whenever you answer a FaceTime call on any device other than your iPad, your iPad continues to make the incoming tone. I can see how this constant sound would be an inconvenience to you. I'm happy to help. 

The first thing I recommend to do is to try closing out of the FaceTime app, then try restarting your device and test how it responds.

If you're still having trouble with hearing the noise after a FaceTime call is answered, I recommend to try uninstalling the FaceTime app, then reinstalling it through the App Store. 

Remove built-in Apple apps from the Home screen on your iOS 10 device or Apple Watch
