Visit to the Genius Bar. Hard drive on its way ...

I recently brought my late 2013 27" iMac in for repair on a broken hinge. They ran some diagnostics before taking it back and an exclamation came up on the hard drive test. They said the hard drive was on its way out. I haven't had any issues pointing towards an issue and nothing comes up on first aid in disk utility. I'm not doubting that the hard drive is on its last legs but it would be nice to run a similar test, just to verify it on my end. Is there any way to run a similar hard drive heath test within OS X?
