Apps Category Gone from Itunes

I updated to the latest version for my Ipad Air and the Apps category no longer appears in Summary or On My Device. The apps are on the Ipad but for example I can't add pdfs to Adobe Acrobat. Several threads talk about clicking the black box on the left or scrolling down but neither makes any sense. IOS is 11.0.3 for Ipad and 12.7.0 for Itunes.
