my heart rate on my apple watch shows wide fluc...

The heart rate monitor on my apple watch first version has started to show big variations in my resting heart rate. It is generally 65 to 70 but jumps up 120 sometimes or higher (once to 209) when I am sitting down and resting. Are these just misreads or a sign of something else? Do other people get this?

If you suspect that your Apple Watch may have identified an abnormal or irregular heart rate, then I would again suggest you consult your doctor / physician, perhaps sharing the readings with them.

Resting heart rate information can be viewed via the Health app on your iPhone (Health Data > Heart > Resting Rate).
