Items self deleting

Hello all,

I noticed a playlist I have had forever was n longer on my phone.  Get home and look into iTunes, assuming I need a resync or something, and it is there, but all the contents are missing.

Never had anything like this happen before.  Is this recoverable?  If so, how would I do this?
