Some songs greyed out on iPhone iTunes

Some of the songs on my iphone SE are greyed out and won’t play. These are ripped from my album (Hamilton) and play on my PC and my on iPhone 6. Some of the tracks are fine but others remain grey. I am using all the latest versions, have tried deleting, re-syncing several times. The SE is actually my daughters so a different iCloud name, but shared account. Anyway that shouldn’t make a difference because some of the tracks play fine.  Any suggestions gratefully received!
