MBP occasional crashes
Hello,
I'm having unusual situations with my MBP mid 2014. Every 2 month or more, it freezes and restarts. Today for the first time I noticed some glitches on the whole screen, but after closing tabs in Safari, it turned back to normal. Afterwards, I restarted the laptop, and it took a while to start up, so I restarted it again, and it did it pretty fast, as usual.
After upgrading to the High Sierra, a few days ago, I also noticed that "kernal task" using about 11gb of memory and the fans go crazy without real challenge.
Aside from the issues the computer works great. It's doing all the tasks quite routinely.
So any suggestion what could be the issue, or if anyone had a similar situation?
thanks
Could you post an Etrecheck – System Information report ?
