widget ios 11 2 columns not working

Hi all,

since I‘ve updated to iOS 11 the 2 column feature for widgets disappeared. Can‘t find any settings to get them back. I now have all widgets in one column, what really *****.

I know there are several threads about this topic, but none has a solution as far as i read.

Has anyone solved this issue yet?
