So I have been making a playlist manually on my iphone 6s over the past year and a half manually on my iphone using the add song to playlist option. I deleted one song from within my artist/album and selected one song and that song was in one of my playlist that I have been building manually with 3d touch when that song was playing and adding it to a playlist using only my iphone. Now because that song was in my playlist it the Whole playlist is lost!!!!! I went to see if I could retrive it and it is gone for ever. I went and made a make shift playlist quickly to see if this would happen again and YES if you delete a song from your library on your phone it will delete the entire playlist that the song is in instead of just deleting the one song. I dont understand why itunes would go and delete my entire playlist. This is crushing to me as music is a huge part of my life and that playlist was super important in so many ways. Anybody had this problem before? Sollutions? Thank you for reading

I had the same problem.

Fortunately I had iTunes on my Mac and it had not had the chance to sync with Apple Music.  I turned off wifi before opening iTunes (so it wouldn't sync).  I then right clicked the playlist in iTunes and selected 'duplicate'.

When I turned wifi back on the first playlist was lost, but the duplicate remained.  I also took screenshots of the playlist before I reconnected the Mac to the Internet.

Hopefully you have a copy of the playlist in iTunes on your Mac, or you have a Time Machine backup of your iTunes library.
