Apps don't appear on macbook air, have to start...

Hi there, my issue is since a month or so when I first start up Firefox on my Macbook air 11 inch with MacOS Sierra 10.12.6, it disappears after a few seconds and I have to open the programme again. This happens EVERY TIME after I have started up the Macbook.

Similarly, when I open Evernote, the screen does not appear anywhere, so the programme doesn't open fully. I have to quit Evernote and re-open it, then it works.

This is really annoying and I hope someone can help! I haven't been able to properly describe this problem or find a solution!
