Problem with Logitech Mouse on Sierra

I posted a question in the Logitech forums, but I thought I'd ask, here, to see if anyone had any ideas.

I have a Logitech Marathon M705 wireless mouse.  Upon updating my MacBook Pro to Sierra, I updated the Logitech Control Center to the newest version for Sierra, 3.9.5.

The mouse receiver is plugged in.  The mouse is, still, properly paired with it, as evidenced by the fact that I can move the curser around with it.  The LCC software is recognizing that the receiver is plugged in, but it won't let me configure it.  Just "No Logitech Device Found".

Anyone have Logitech mice and have any idea how to fix this?

New drivers are available on Logitech's website and fix this problem: https://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/logitech-control-center-for-macintosh -os-x/

Here's my suggestion.

Uninstall the Logitech software. Download and install SteerMouse. Much better than Logitech's software.

I have a M510 and have the same results. I ended up buying a new Mouse. BTW, there is a new Marathon 720 mouse that works with Logitech Options. This will work in Sierra.

You could try USB-Overdrive.

Giving SteerMouse a try.  I've got all my mouse functionality back with it.  Might be worth coughing up the $20 for it.  I've always liked Logitech's hardware.  Their software has always left a lot to be desired.

I agree. Logitech's software is always lacking in my opinion. I've use SteerMouse since I discovered Version 1.0! Version 5.x.x has been in beta testing. It will bring full Sierra compatibility once it is released. Hopefully, that will be soon.

I had the same problem on Sierra. After installing Karabiner, Logitech Mx Master stopped work and didn't move (neither via bluetooth nor through Unifying). The system saw it (bluetooth) but LCC didn't. I uninstalled Carabiner (at the moment  Carabiner doesn't work on Sierra anyway) using uninstalling button of Carabiner. After uninstalling it, the mouse started working.

Worked for me. My M705 is now working like it should have been all along!

The problem can be solved this way

The provided answers don't help me. The updated drivers don't fix it, and the solution in the YouTube video from BKRGL doesn't make a difference.

In my case the situation is that when I use my Logitech mouse and the Apple trackpad together, they don't play nice. Specifically, if I grab something with the mouse (point and grab) and then drag with the trackpad, there is 100% lag. As in, the object doesn't move until I let go the mouse button, then it snaps to its new position. This is my normal way of working, and it worked just fine up until Sierra. (I.e., I could hold with the mouse button and drag around with the trackpad without any lag.)

What's the deal with this? I am still having all of the same issues and it doesn't seem like Logitech is doing anything about it.

I found this page with two different pieces of software (Logitech Options and Logitech Control Center). After I installed both it worked:

The Logitech Control Center is for older Logitech mice. Options is used for the newer mice.

I downloaded the newest Control Center drivers for M705 and still it refuses to "pair"

I know the mouse is talking to the iMac, the cursor moves around and I can click.

What do I do now?
