how is the flexible split zone made shown in Ma...

Hi there,

when you open up MainStage and select the demo-concert "keyboard with patches" you find a split instrument between piano an bass (called piano & bass split) where the split zone seems to follow the playing on the keyboard. I want to use this feature for an own patch or exs-instrument but I can't find how it is made.

Any idea out there?

This is a MainStage feature!

  1. Create two channel strips inside a patch.
  2. In the Channel Strip inspector you can now the High, Low Key, and the Floating range up or down for each channel strip.

Thank you cuauhtemoc! Short and precise and exactly what I wanted to know!

In my Vs. it's called Layer-Editor and you can see it below the preview of the perform-window when you selected a channelstrip on the right side.

Cheers,
