ZEPP 2 motion detector not found by bt

I got a new aid for sports practice, which is said to work on iPad 3/iPhone 5 (iOS 9 or newer), however the bt service on either if my Apple devices is not found. An other device running Android 6 finds the device. My iPad is iPad Pro bought a month back and iPhone 6 is my other device.

Where do I find the revision number of Apple devices bluetooth service? Or does anybody have had the same issue addressed above and solved it?

Hi. Just google the specs. For example, "iphone 6 specs" returns this link: iPhone 6 - Technical Specifications, which says you have BT 4.2 on your phone. Your devices are pretty up-to-date. Do you maybe need to pair this gizmo?
