I have a MacBook, 10.6.8. When I print from the web, the "plain white paper" option is grayed out, and I can only use "matte presentation paper" or photo quality, which of course uses a ton of ink. This happens no matter which printer I use, so I don't think it's my printer. I've tried uninstalling and installing Firefox, and that hasn't helped. I don't know where the problem originates, or what to do about it. By the way, the paper options are all available for anything I print that has originated on my computer. It's only the web material where I'm having the trouble.
