Icloud creates second documents folder instead ...

My icloud created a second documents folder instead of syncing the existing one on my harddrive to the cloud.

The syncing of my desktop works fine however – Both the desktop folder in cloud as well as my actual desktop always contain the same files.

How do I get rid of the second documents folder in the icloud which empty except for some files from Excel, Steam, etc.
