Trouble installing MacOS Sierra on Fusion drive.

I have created a fusion drive using the CD rom caddy for a 2011 MacBook pro and 2 X 500GB SSDs, essentially creating a 1TB internal Volume.

Creating and formatting the fusion drive via terminal works flawlessly and drive is easily recognized as 1TB Fusion drive.

In recovery mode when trying to install MacOS Sierra on the 2011 MacBook Pro 17Inch laptop an error occurs about 10min into the installation. Both drives are 100%, i am using my Apple ID and have another MacBook Pro 15" on which MacOS Sierra is running perfectly, non-Fusion drive.

I follow exactly the steps outlined via recovery mode Cmd+R, Reinstall MacOS, or Internet Recovery. NO Cigar!

Anybody experienced the same issue?
