Stuck on Apple Logo Screen
I have a mid-2011 27" iMac that within the last 2 weeks upgraded to High Sierra. Last night before bed I shut down my computer (there were no issues with performance prior to shutting down) and when I turned it back on the progress bar would slowly fill and when it fills it stalls and never boots up. I contacted chat support and performed the following:
Unplugged for 10 mins and restarted
Tried "Safe Mode" but wouldn't boot into it
Booted to macOS Utilities and ran first aid on the drive
Booted to macOS Utilities and reinstalled High Sierra
All leave me still stuck with a full progress bar without booting up.
What's next?
Kevin,
What happens when you reset the PRAM per the directions in iMac SMC and PRAM reset ?
All results are the same. White Apple logo screen, slow moving progress bar till full then nothing.
