Apple id hacked

Hi,

I think someone has access to my Apple id. I am Swedish but currently in Rome and when I tried to login I all of a sudden had the two factor authentication. Not super suspicious about that. Might have been a change that I have done without noticing it.

But, when the verification code is going to be sent to my phone a message pops up and says that I am in Milan or Turin in Italy and it asks me if this "new device" can get access. I am not using a new device. Or I don't even get the code and have to click on "Didn't receive a code" and ask for it to be sent again and then I get it.

I also have been receiving emails from appleid@id.apple.com saying that a telephone number has been added to my Apple id followed my another email saying that my number has been removed.

Part of my Apple id page was then partly in French.

If someone is trying to get my Apple id, or already has, why would anybody be interested? Is it to get my card details? Should I block the credit card I have connected to my Apple id and then I am safe?

Please I am very worried. I don't know what this mean.
