MY BATTERY LIFE LASTS 5 MINS

my charge lasts 5 mins on my iPod 6 running on iOS 11. I’ve had my iPod since may 2016,I’ve tried everything background refresh,putting the brightness down,restarting it. Nothing helps.ive timed how long it lasts on half brightness and it lasts for 5 mins. If I don’t use it and it’s on 100 percent it goes down to 20 percent. Please someone help me
