contacts disappeared

I just updated to IOS 11.0.3 on my IPhone and now my contacts have disappeared. They are still on my IPad so is there any way to get them from my IPad to my IPhone?

Contacts are not stored on your device, they are synced from your iCloud and/or email account. Go to Settings > Accounts & Passwords, and make sure all the accounts that your contacts are from are listed there. Also check Settings > Contacts.
