Shared iCloud photo albums auto

Hello Community,

I installed ios 11.0.1 ( i think that was the exact number) on my iphone last night. Then I installed 11.0.2.

My iCloud shared photo albums no longer appear and it says that i have almost the full 5 GB of space left to use in my free Icloud storage account.

How do I get those albums back? Where are they?

I am freaking out.  That is where I stored the few dozen or so videos and photos that were of utmost value to me. 

I logged into icloud on a web browser and it says I have no albums shared there either.   I had about 12 albums that I shared only with myself and some with others.   I never auto uploaded my  entire "iPhone photo library" to Icloud because it was too big and I don't want to pay apple. I was happy with the free 5 GB offer and only enabled "my photo stream".  

I've read some posts that say to enable "iCloud Photo Library" to restore "photo sharing", but I can't because I have over 5 Gb of photos on my phone currently. "iCloud photo sharing" is enabled and always was, but it shows that I have nothing shared and no activity.

Please help this lay person figure out how to get my shared photo albums recovered and back on my phone.

Not that I can tell, but I am no expert.

When I login to Icloud via a web browser it literally says "Your iCloud Photo Library is empty"

I see no options on the browser or my phone to hide or unhide content.

Did that discussion link offer any suggestions?

I had 7 or 8 shared streams of family memories. Installed iOS 11.0.2 two days ago. My iPad has four now, my iphone 6 had three until a couple of hours ago, now has the same four. I’m not happy at all, these are not replaceable. All the available options are and always have been available, backup, upload etc etc. I have well over half my iCloud storage available, just under half my iPad storage available but there is no trace of the other streams. Tried to talk to Apple chat, response time 2 mins it said. At 20mins came back with ‘unavailable’ message. There is a small glimmer of hope having got another stream on my phone today that the others may arrive at some point in the future but at the moment I need some answers. I’d suggest nobody installs 11.0.2 until there is a solution and clarity. Anybody else having this?
