How long does it take to match 200GB of music w...

I've been using Apple Music since it was introduced and I've never been a fan. During my initial connection, it took about three days to complete the matching process (avg. WiFi signal was 145 Mbps, average internet speed at the time who knows!). It severely screwed up with the matches, eliminating rare-ish recordings of songs that had the same title as the studio versions of those same songs.  Album art and genre were switched, or otherwise jumbled, and what's worse, it wrote over my files on my hard drive, making it so that when I wanted to play, say, Abbey Road, something else entirely would play, even though all the metadata indicated I was playing Abbey Road.

I have a library that is close to 200GB.

OK, live and let live.  I've corrected some of the mistakes as I've encountered them, but for the most part, I've been a bit busy at life to deal with it. At the time, I spent probably 40 hours on the phone and sent and received dozens of e-mails from Apple's "third tier" customer service.  The next level was engineering, and they wouldn't connect me (the user) with them (the creators).

I recently noticed that the hard drive on which my music is stored here on Earth was NOT connected to Apple Music. I noticed this on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017.  So I turned it on. The average through-put of my WiFi is somewhere between 145 Mbps and 850 Mbps, the download and upload speeds through Spectrum/Time Warner vary from 12 Mbps/100+ Mbps down to 1.7/30+ Mbps up.

It is now Oct. 9, and the little wheel in the upper-right hand corner of the iTunes window is still spinning, and if I suggest that maybe we close the app and turn off the computer, I get a warning that interrupting the process sets it back to zero.

So, how long should it take? It was notoriously slow then, and it still seems notoriously slow.
