How to change personal picture on your watch face

HHow do you change the picture from your photo library?

Hi

 

To change the photo used on the Photo watch face:

 

  • When viewing the time on your watch, press firmly on the display.
  • If you did not start from the Photo watch face, swipe left / right until it is shown.
  • Tap on the Customise button beneath the watch face.
  • To choose a different photo from your synced photo album, either:
    • Swipe left / right to switch between photos.
    • Turn the Digital Crown to zoom out (rotate it with a downwards motion) until all previews of other photos from your synced photo album are shown, then tap on a different photo to select it.
  • Press the Digital Crown twice to return to the watch face, using the newly selected photo.

 

To change your synced photo album:

 

  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Photos > Synced Album.

This did not work to change the pic.

Agreed. This does not work at all. Scrolling the scolll wheel just zooms he picture.

The process does work. If turning the Digital Crown just zooms in on the picture, you need to rotate it in the other direction.

Hello . You have to save picture to favorites firsts the little  heart at bottom . Than in watch push down face hit customize than turn wheel all pictures in favorites come up touch the one you want . And hit save :) hope helps

This solution is for the single photo watch face not the "album watch face". Sync your photo collection. On the Apple Watch go to the photos app, zoom into the photo you want and firmly press. This will "Create a watch face" and allow you to edit the peripherals you want to see. With this option you can create as many SINGLE photo watch faces the watch allows you to have.

The easiest thing I did was I picked a photo and created a new album on my iPhone  then I went into the Apple Watch face gallery on my iPhone and choose that album as my watch face. Since it is a single photo it does not change when I move my wrist to look at the time. Hope this was helpful!

Thank god we have to go through all of this instead of simply going to the watch app on our phones and selecting a picture for the face. Thanks Apple! Not.
