i need to close my account ..how do i do this?

Accounts can't be 'closed' nor deleted, all you can do is remove any personal info from them (e.g. payment details : Change or remove your Apple ID payment information in the iTunes Store - Apple Support), stop any auto-renewing subscriptions on them (e.g. View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support and, if applicable, iCloud storage) and stop using it (e.g. if you no longer want to use it all delete any content downloaded by it).
