Nike + Run crashing at end of run

The Nike + run App perfectly fine for runs up to about 10 miles following which it starts behaving very strangely. The app seems to freeze and restart the start countdown every time i stop for a quick breather. The worse part is that the app crashes once you try to end the run. I ended up loosing all run data for 20 mile run !!!

Not sure if this is an app issue or watch issue, but in either case it'll be great if it could be resolved. does anyone experience this ?

If you have not yet done so, it may help to update the Nike+ Run App to the latest version:
