Green lines, stuck on start up
Hello, I have a 2011 MBP. Earlier my laptop was running very slowly and the screen went grey and it stopped responding, so I held down the power button after waiting a while. Now when I start it up there is a thin green series of lines across the screen. The start up only gets 80/90% of the way across and then nothing. I read something about running a disk repair by starting with command + r pressed. At first this was great, the green disappeared and the start up bar filled, but then it restarted of its own accord and the green lines are back .... Any advice on what I could do to fix this would be much appreciated.
Update. It has now progressed from the start up bar, to a light grey screen, the green has gone though so that's a plus.
