Can I get emergency alerts on my iPod?

Am I able to get emergency alerts on my iPod touch?

Yes and no. At least where I live you can, I'm assuming your talking about something like weather or school closing alerts. You just down load the apps and your off to races. However, the alerts will only work if you're connected to a network or in a Wi-Fi hot spot. Hope this helps, Good luck.
