iTunes 12.7 Play Count Issue Not Solved
There is an implication that the iTunes 12.7 Play Count/Last Played Issue if solved by De-Authorise and Signing Out of iTunes. This is not a full solution. This is a workaround.
Play Counts will cease to register if you sign in again, or sometimes at Random and sometimes when you Home Share to an Apple TV.
