The application can't be opened message

From a past few days I have not been able to launch VirtualBox app. I tried removing and installing it, also tried installing an older build. I accidentally found out that Symantec endpoint protection is also not starting. Below is the screenshot of the system.log generated when I tried to launch VirtualBox and then Symantec Endpoint.

Any help is appreciated.

Try restarting in Safe Mode then restart normally.

Personally, I refuse to have anything on my Mac from Symantec. My recommendation is to follow their instructions to uninstall it.
