Finder app behavior

Hi,

i have bad experiences when i have two same folder name, which are the old one with more number of files and the new one with less number of files replaced and lost my important file.

when i manage folder by drag and drop the new folder to the old folder with same name folder for move and merge purpose, finder app showing me confirmation "stop" or "replace" action only, when "replace" button selected then all my files in old folder with more number of files will be gone and replaced with less number of files and i lost some important files due to this finder's behavior , it will be deferent if i drag and drop by pressing option key which showing me "merge" button.. but this make me still have 2 folder with same name and manually delete one folder.

are there any way to change default drag and drop option to move folder and merge as default finder action when drag and drop same folder name to another place?
