MacBook Pro with Touch Bar Freezes

Bought my MacBook Pro with touch bar in December 2016.

It hangs quite frequently, often resulting in me having to force shut down the computer and then restart it. This happens when I'm surfing the net on Safari or using Microsoft word. The touch bar would freeze as well and I wouldn't be able to click anything with the cursor.

Its bothering me quite a bit, as I've ended losing unsaved work quite a few times. Does apple cover this under their warranty?
