Apple watch 3 with LTE functions

hello everybody,

I would like to buy the new apple watch 3 with the LTE functions.

I am currently in Japan and I am originally from Germany.

So can I buy it in Japan and then use it with a supported German carrier in Germany?

On the website Japan and Germany are listed under the same bands and frequencies.

Does this mean I can use a in japan-bought lte apple watch in Germany? (talking about the LTE function)
