Files (in iOS 11) wants to open text files in G...
I have quite a few text (from TextEdit) files on my Mac that I’d like to view from my iPad. I am trying to use the new Files app, and every time I wish to view a text file, it wants open it in Google Drive (and that process always fails). Removing Google Drive solves that particular problem, except that I need Drive installed to access anything stored in Google's cloud. Reinstalling Drive gets me back to square one (Drive insists on opening the text file). I have submitted a bug report to Google (which may do no good at all).
This happens on my iPhone too.
Does anyone have a suggestion, work-around, or solution?
