Change user and FileValut passwords
I have set up my MBP with Sierra to use the same password for both FileVault and my user account. I now wish to change my user account password and have FileVault use that password as well instead of the 'old' one. In this way I will not have to use separate passwords for each. How do I do that?

In short it might be best to de-encrypt the startup disk. Change you user password, and re-encrypt the startup disk.
